When is the best time to have my baby’s newborn pictures taken?
If you’re looking for sleepy, posed baby portraits, the FIRST TWO WEEKS after baby is born is ideal as this is when they are most sleepy and able to be positioned for their pictures most successfully. With that said, ANYTIME is a great time to photograph your new baby! If you have an older baby who’s outside of this time frame, we will simply make adjustments to accommodate baby and will aim for a few posed, but lean towards capturing more natural and relaxed pictures of baby (asleep or happily awake), as well as lifestyle moments of you & your baby together for first family portraits you will absolutely treasure!
Where is the best place for taking newborn pictures?
Indoors at your own home (yes, we bring the portrait studio to you!) or an outdoor session at location recommended by the photographer, or outdoors at your home, is a beautiful choice as well. New parents LOVE the convenience of not having to get out just after baby is born, as well as the ability to put their pjs back on after their part of the session is through. 😉
What do your newborn photo sessions include and what is your pricing?
Our newborn sessions are all-inclusive which means the price you see listed includes all the digital portraits presented in your gallery for you to own for life!. No additional print minimums to meet – order whatever printed keepsakes your heart desires through our professional lab partner for the best quality, or print with a consumer lab of your choice at a later date. How do I book and what do I need to do to get ready for my baby’s newborn pictures?
We will bring along a cute set of coordinating blankets, wraps, and hats or headbands for your baby to be photographed with and you are more than welcome to purchase your own items if you’d like and we will be sure to incorporate your special things into your baby’s photos as well!
