I think almost every woman who’s ever been
pregnant gets to the point where it begins to
feel like an e-t-e-r-n-i-t-y has passed!!
In fact, at one point I remember trying to
recall what it was like NOT being pregnant
(you know, how ‘normal’ people do
mundane things) and it was actually SUPER
hard remember myself pre-pregnancy.
And now, not even six moths post-pregnancy,
it’s crazy to think my belly was this big
and it wasn’t even that long ago!
Funny, right?!!
Mamas-to-be : I cannot stress this enough:
SEIZE THE MOMENT!
Whatever you do, please don’t miss out on
remembering your pregnancy in this way.
In the grand scheme of things,
pregnancy is SUCH a short time and is unlike
anything else you’ll ever experience.
I have a slight confession:
My first pregnancy with the twins was high
risk and I was either living in the hospital or
in bed at home and I didn’t make/find time
to do this the first time. :0) I KNOW!
I can’t believe I let it slip away!
And then, because it was so hard for
us to conceive, I thought I’d
never be pregnant again.
In truth, there was always a place inside
that was sad I’d missed out on
maternity pictures. Like, really – really sad. :(
Sure, I had some snapshots and selfies,
but they didn’t do justice to the
amazing miracle of life that I
was privileged to be a part of.
I am SO grateful
I was given a surprise second chance
for so many reasons, including this.
Don’t make the same mistake I did the first
time around thinking you will
just do it “the next time.”
Because you never really know
which pregnancy will be your last
and each is to be savored!
