Hi, Friends!

This post is WAY over due, but I’m happy
to report that all is well… 31, almost 32, weeks
along and our little guy is growing like crazy
& my body appears to be cooperating so far!

Whaaat?! :-)

SO thankful!! God is good.
We’re in the home stretch so
it won’t be long now!

Excited to share a peek at his nursery…
it’s been so much fun seeing it come together
from start to finish and adding some
personal touches along the way.

I love mixing a bit of old in with some
fresh modern touches.
His crib was a Craigslist steal, the dresser
is a vintage server I picked up
at a local antique store, and I had fun
sewing his matching curtains & bed skirt,
designing a mobile out of dollar store findings,
and creating various pieces for his wall
– painting, gluing – you name it!

Projects like these always give me a good
excuse to whip out my supplies
and usually learn something new while I’m at it.

Psst… can you spot two eyes and a furry coat in the picture below?
She thinks she’s the baby of the family!

What I love most about having his A
room complete, and I think most
moms would agree, is being able to walk in
and know that in few short weeks there will
be two tiny, kissable cheeks to feed, soothe
and put to sleep in this very same room!

It’s been a sweet bonus this time around to
also have two older kiddos who are equally
excited about baby’s arrival…
they make the cutest artwork for his room
nearly every other day and they can’t get enough
of pretending in there and playing
with baby brother’s new toys.

One of my favorites:
“Mommy is your Mommy.”
Just in case there’s any confusion. ;-)

 Thanks for sticking around to
share in our excitement!

I’ll be sharing a handful of maternity pics
in the coming week so stay tuned…
