I thought it was due time to give you a glimpse into my studio.
After all, if it were me, I’d like to sneak a peek of where I might bring my family, too.
So, come on in and make yourself comfortable!

Accessed through a private entrance,
the studio is a warm “little” space tucked in the very place I call home,
located in St. Charles, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis.
It’s quite kid-friendly, after all I have two of my own who play here every day.
Notice the reflection in the door of a Little Tikes swing – my daughter’s favorite!
Upon entering, to the right you are greeted with a large area for family lounging and playing,
and a private bathroom is just around the corner.
This area is relatively child-proofed for busy babies and toddlers.
Yes, those are Modern, Whimsical Frames scattered about.
All frames on-hand are always for immediate sale, or you can order something custom and have it in about three weeks.
You might see these little guys and a few more thrown into the mix of toys while you’re here.
I just love the character of old, vintage Fisher Price toys, especially Little People.
They remind me so much of my childhood and I love seeing this next generation enjoy them, too!
Looking back towards the entrance, facing the doors, lies the dedicated studio space.
It’s the perfect little area for photographing itty bitty newborns, babies, toddlers or children alike.
It’s also great for maternity sessions or other small group sessions like Mommy & Me, Holiday Portraits, sibling shots and so on.
Generally speaking, it can typically accommodate two to three individuals comfortably.
And, an added bonus:
I absolutely LOVE that I have a place to hang portraits of the families I capture!
Nothing beats going BIG with portraits.

It’s too fun not to dress them just a little bit!
I adore blankets and wraps with soft texture or vintage prints for adding a little something extra.
In the studio I also have a swatch box on hand for customizing your very own Modern, Whimsical Frame.
All 46 colors are painted directly on the same wood that the frames are made from,
so it’s a great way to get a realistic idea of which color is the perfect color for your room, portrait or occasion.
